Designed to cover the learning outcomes of the Leaving Cert Ag Science, Animal Health and Disease topic.

This activity pack has all the components needed to turn your students into trainee vets for an entire double-class lesson.
Ideally, students will work in groups to read the scenario card. They will then consult their handbook to try and identify what disease the animal is suffering from. They will then individually write their report cards on the treatment advised for the animal. Answers are included for the teacher to check the diagnosis at the end of the lesson.

An ideal activity to learn about the various farm diseases in the first instance, or as a revision activity before assessments.
It can also be used as a TY activity.
